Why Create With Me?
Card Making Kit Options
Each themed kit includes everything needed to create a minimum of 6 cards (card count varies by kit) and are manufactured by Stampin' Up!. In addition to the kit we will make an extra bonus card, not included in the kit, where participants will be introduced to techniques to make their own unique cards.
View the video below to see samples of the kits.
Teams & Corporate
Looking for a unique activity for your team where the end product can be for office and personal use?
My card making kit workshops are perfect for small and large groups, and are a catalyst for creative connection. Let me help you choose a kit that your team will enjoy making and giving.
Workshop length can be customized to align with your company’s available time and event structure.
Community & Senior Centers
Activity Directors and Center Program Coordinators, need a unique activity where participants create a product that they can use?
Giving a card is thoughtful, but being able to say "I made it!" makes it even more special. Let me help you choose a kit that your residents will enjoy making and giving.
In addition to the kit, I'll be teaching how to make an extra bonus card with the stamp set in the kit. Once participants receive the basics it's easy for them to make all the cards at their own pace and outside of the workshop if needed.
Social Events
Looking for an activity for your next gathering?
If you are part of a group such as an organization, church group, club, sorority, etc, or you are hosting a group date night, shower, or even a fundraiser, my card kit workshops are ideal.
Just provide the workspace and I'll come to you and guide everyone through making cards from the kit as well as an additional bonus card.
Looking for more specialized cards to match your interests or needs, I can help with that as well!
Monthly Classes
Love the idea of making handmade cards but not sure where to start? Or looking to make a connection with others in a small group setting?
I host monthly card making sessions and would love for you to join us.
Different from the kits, these gatherings are an opportunity for you to learn a variety of techniques and leave with cards that you may like so much, you may never want to give them away!
What's unique about these classes is it is open to beginners who have never touched a stamp, all the way to the seasoned crafter, and it allows for a "show one, teach one" environment. Each card has it's own station, so you will move from station to station to recreate the card as well as get to interact with different people in the group.
The Heart and Passion Behind Your Workshops
Hello! I’m Elisca.
In my workshops, participants will find a welcoming and supportive space where creativity feels approachable and fun. They will learn techniques that are easy to follow and leave with handmade cards they are proud to share along with bragging rights of making the cards themselves! My workshops are ideal for corporate teams looking for creative team building experiences, community and senior centers, social clubs, friends getting together and more.
Creating environments where people feel comfortable learning, asking questions, and sharing in the experience has always been central to my work. With over twenty years of instructional experience supporting NASA and the International Space Station program, I had the privilege of training astronauts, flight controllers, and other NASA team members. While my role included many responsibilities beyond instruction, teaching was always the part I loved most.
I’m energized by teaching, whether one-on-one or with large groups, and through Elisca Cards, I bring that same energy and atmosphere to my workshops.
When I first discovered card making, I was immediately hooked. I was fascinated by the idea that with a few simple tools, like rubber stamps and an ink pad, something thoughtful and personal could be made entirely by hand. In 2007, I became an Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator and began hosting a monthly card making group with friends. We would gather, recreate several cards I designed, catch up, laugh, and learn new techniques together. It quickly became about more than cards. It was about connection.
Over the years, as I moved and life changed, the faces around the table changed too. What stayed the same was the monthly gathering, the shared excitement of stamping a design, and the pride that came with finishing a card you made yourself. That consistency is something I treasure.
I’m now able to bring that love of card making to a wider audience through Elisca Cards. Everyone gets to enjoy the process while creating, connecting and celebrating.

Q:
How far in advance do I need to book a workshop?
Q:
What is the "extra bonus card"?
How much workspace does each person need?
Q:
A:
At least one month in advance.
A:
I will create a card using the ink and stamps that come in your kit and will bring the materials (different paper and embellishments) for everyone to recreate this card. This allows participants to see the versitility of card making and learn what else they can create with their stamps and ink.
A:
Minimum 20" x 15" area is needed to create. (Think TV tray size). Of course more space is nice to layout out the pieces in the kit!
Q:
How long is a workshop? or how much time should I allot for cardmaking?
A:
Typically plan on 90 minutes of card making. Time can be adjusted as everything needed to make the cards is in the kit and is the participants to keep. Any cards not created in the workshop can be done on their own time.
Q:
What's the cost of a workshop?
A:
Several variables go into the cost, such as which kit is chosen, how many bonus cards will be made, and location. If customized, the time to create these is also a factor.
But let's discuss your needs; I'm sure you'll find that the costs are comparable to other art experiences.
Q:
What if there is not a kit that fits my specific needs, can you customize themed sentiments or images?
Q:
Will all the cards in the kit be made in the time allotted?
A:
Depends on the number of cards in the kit and the time allocated, but would not expect for all cards to be made. The kit has everything someone will need, so they can easily finish creating at their leisure.
A:
I have a variety of stamps that allow customization of the cards. Examples: wine, nature, camping. Let's talk to discuss options.
Q:
What if participants don't want to keep the stamps and ink from the kit?
A:
I am more than happy to recycle/reuse any stamps and ink participants do not want to keep.
